Hey model train enthusiasts! These LYM60 street lamps will take your HO scale layout to the next level with some seriously cool lighting effects. You get five complete double-headed lampposts that stand about 67mm (2.64 inches) tall - perfect for 1:87 scale scenes. They come with warm white LEDs that give off this really cozy, realistic glow that makes your miniature town look alive, especially when dusk falls in your diorama. Now, here's the important part: these babies run on 3V only, so if you're hooking them up to your typical 12V or 16V model train power supply, you'll need to use the included resistors (they give you five for free!) to avoid frying the LEDs. The operating current is 20mA per LED, and they work with both AC and DC power sources. The construction is solid - coppery columns that look authentic and hold up well to handling. Installation is pretty straightforward since they come with wires already attached to the LEDs, making wiring up your layout much easier. Imagine lining these along your streets, around your station platform, or in a town square - they instantly add depth and realism to any scene. The warm white color is just right for simulating old-fashioned street lighting rather than that harsh modern LED look. Whether you're building a modern cityscape or a vintage town, these lamps fit right in. They're also great for dollhouses or other miniature projects beyond just model railways. The package includes everything you need to get started, and at five lamps per set, you can light up a decent-sized area without breaking the bank. Your layout will never be the same once you add that nighttime ambiance!
