Ampersand Gessobord Painting Panel - Museum Series 24x36" Cradled Wood Panel For Oil & Acrylic

Serious artists, this Ampersand Gessobord panel is the professional-grade surface you've been searching for! Measuring 24x36 inches with a 1-1/2 inch cradled profile, this museum-series panel offers that perfect archival surface for both oil and acrylic painting. The premium FSC-certified hardboard core is treated with Archiva-Seal to prevent yellowing from support-induced discoloration, ensuring your artwork stays vibrant for generations. Each panel is individually coated with acid-free acrylic gesso that provides just the right tooth for excellent paint adhesion without being overly textured. What really sets wood panels apart from canvas is the incredible color vibrancy they allow - your paints look richer and more intense because there's no canvas weave absorbing the pigment. The stability is remarkable too - no bowing, flexing, or movement like you get with stretched canvas, even when applying heavy palette knife work or multiple layers of collage. The handcrafted 13-ply birch plywood cradle gives you a finished look from every angle, making framing optional for a modern, contemporary presentation. Ampersand panels are strong enough to handle the most rigorous painting techniques without worrying about damage to the surface. Made right here in the USA with eco-friendly, formaldehyde-free materials, you're supporting quality craftsmanship while getting an superior painting surface. Seriously, if you've been working on canvas and want to experience the difference a proper wood panel makes, this Gessobord will revolutionize your artwork. It's one of those professional tools that seems like a luxury until you try it, then you understand why serious artists choose panels over canvas for important works. The quality is immediately apparent - the surface is perfectly prepared, the edges are cleanly finished, and the overall construction feels substantial and permanent. Your colors will pop with unprecedented intensity, your details will be crisper, and your finished pieces will have that professional presence that only quality supports can provide. That's the difference between making art and creating masterpieces!
