Serious anglers who travel, meet your new favorite rod! The St. Croix Avid Trek 3-piece casting rod combines premium performance with travel-friendly convenience. At 7'6\ with medium power and fast action, this rod handles 8-17 lb line and 3/8-3/4 oz lures beautifully. The SCIII carbon construction makes it incredibly lightweight and sensitive - you'll feel every nibble and bottom structure. The 3-piece design breaks down to a compact size that easily fits in luggage or vehicle storage, yet the slim-profile ferrules with ART technology make it perform like a 1-piece rod when assembled. The Sea Guide Hero guides with zirconia rings are super smooth for longer casts, and the Fuji ECS reel seat provides secure reel mounting. The select-grade cork handle feels great in hand and provides excellent grip even when wet. St. Croix handcrafts these in Park Falls, USA, and backs them with a 15-year warranty - that's how confident they are in the quality. Whether you're flying to fishing destinations, packing for camping trips, or just need rod that stores easily, the Avid Trek delivers tournament-level performance in a travel-ready package. The carbon pearl finish looks sharp too! If you demand high-end rod performance but need the convenience of break-down design, this St. Croix absolutely delivers. Your fishing adventures just got more portable without sacrificing quality.
