Yamaha Wave Runner Reverse Cable - Replacement For 650/700 Models

If you're dealing with reverse issues on your Yamaha Wave Runner III, this replacement reverse cable is exactly what you need to get back on the water. The 60.5 inch overall length with 3.5 inch throw matches the OEM specifications perfectly, so installation is straightforward if you're somewhat mechanically inclined. This cable replaces multiple part numbers including Yamaha's GA9-U149C-00-00 and GA9-U149C-01-00, as well as SBT's 26-2411, making it compatible with 1990-1993 Wave Runner III 650 models and 1994-1995 700 models. The quality feels solid - the cable housing is durable and the ends are properly crimped for reliable operation. I installed mine last season when my reverse stopped engaging properly, and it's been working flawlessly ever since. The motion is smooth without any binding, and the length is exactly right for routing through the factory pathways. Having a functioning reverse makes docking and maneuvering in tight spaces so much easier and safer. Whether you're doing the repair yourself or having a shop handle it, using the correct replacement cable ensures everything works as intended. The price is reasonable compared to OEM, and the performance has been just as reliable. If your Wave Runner's reverse isn't responding correctly or the cable shows signs of wear, this replacement part delivers the quality and fit you need to restore full functionality to your watercraft. Definitely recommended for any Wave Runner owner dealing with reverse mechanism issues.
