Model building enthusiasts and military history fans, this Tamiya SU-100 tank kit is seriously impressive! At 1/25 scale, this Soviet assault gun captures all the intimidating details that made the original such a feared weapon on World War II battlefields. The low-profile silhouette and that massive 100mm main gun are reproduced with Tamiya's typical attention to accuracy and detail. What's really cool about this kit are the special features - you get two log parts that Soviet tanks used for escaping rough terrain, plus a spare fuel tank and other accessories that add authenticity to your display. The suspension actually works with metal springs, and the resin crawler belts come pre-assembled with just the right amount of slack to give that heavy, realistic look. Several hatches can be positioned open or closed, and you even get a commander figure to bring your diorama to life. The decal sheet includes markings for Soviet, Arab coalition, and Polish armies, giving you options for different historical contexts. The plastic quality is excellent with crisp details and minimal flash, making the building process enjoyable rather than frustrating. Whether you're a seasoned model builder or looking to tackle your first military vehicle, this kit provides that perfect balance of challenge and satisfaction. The finished model has serious presence on any shelf and makes a great conversation piece. It's one of those classic Tamiya kits that delivers both historical accuracy and building enjoyment in one box. Your display case is about to get a lot more interesting!
