Hey DIYers, these Hillman screw eyes are one of those basic hardware items that you'll find yourself using for way more projects than you'd expect! These .263 x 2-5/8 inch zinc-plated hooks are perfect for hanging everything from holiday decorations and wind chimes to plant baskets and craft projects. The zinc plating means they won't rust easily, which is huge for outdoor use. What I love is how versatile they are - I've used them in the kitchen for hanging utensils, in the garage for organizing tools, and even for making custom jewelry displays. Installation is straightforward - you can just screw them directly into wood, but for harder materials or to prevent splitting, pre-drilling a small pilot hole makes things much easier. The 2-pack is convenient because you always seem to need more than one, and the quality is exactly what you'd expect from Hillman - sturdy, reliable, and built to actually hold weight. Seriously, if you do any amount of crafting, decorating, or organizing around the house, having a few of these screw eyes in your toolbox will save you multiple trips to the hardware store. They're one of those simple solutions that just work every time!
