Prime-Line Slotted Spring Pins - 5/16 X 1-1/2 Inch Plain Steel 25 Pack

Mechanics, engineers, and DIY folks - these Prime-Line slotted spring pins are one of those simple but incredibly useful fasteners you'll want to have in your toolbox! The 5/16 inch diameter by 1-1/2 inch length is a versatile size that works for all kinds of applications where you need to secure components together. What makes these spring pins special is the slot along the entire length that allows the pin to compress when you insert it into a hole, then spring back out to create constant pressure against the hole walls. This design means they stay securely in place even with vibration or shock, unlike solid pins that can work loose over time. The chamfered ends make installation much easier, and the plain steel construction provides good strength for most applications. Often called roll pins or C pins, these are commonly used in machinery, automotive applications, furniture assembly, and all sorts of mechanical projects where you need a reliable, vibration-resistant connection. The 25-pack is perfect because you'll always have extras on hand for different projects, and the quality is consistent across all pins. The installation process is straightforward - just align the holes in your components, tap the pin into place, and that radial tension does the rest of the work keeping everything secure. Whether you're working on vehicles, equipment repairs, or building projects, having these spring pins available can solve all kinds of fastening challenges. They're the kind of basic component that seems simple but makes a huge difference in the quality and durability of your work!
