This replacement remote has been a total lifesaver for my Sony TV after the original remote decided to stop working! The compatibility is spot-on - it works perfectly with my KDL series Sony, handling all the basic functions like power, volume, channel changing, and input selection. The 3D functionality works exactly like the original, which was important since we still watch 3D content occasionally. What's great is there's zero programming needed - it just works right out of the box once you pop in two AAA batteries (not included, but easy to find). The button layout matches the original Sony remote closely, so there's no learning curve trying to find where everything is. The build quality feels solid for a replacement remote - not as premium as the original, but definitely better than those cheap universal remotes that feel like they'll break if you look at them wrong. The 60-day warranty gives you some peace of mind too. Whether you've lost your original remote, it's broken, or you just need a backup for another room, this replacement delivers all the essential functions without the crazy cost of an OEM remote from Sony. It's made our TV usable again without having to get up constantly to change settings manually. Definitely double-check your specific Sony model against the compatibility list, but if it matches, this remote will have you back in control of your TV in minutes.
