Electronics hobbyists and professionals, these soldering iron cleaning sponges are essential for keeping your tips in perfect condition. The 10-pack gives you plenty to place at multiple workstations or share with colleagues. Made from wood pulp fiber, these yellow sponges are specifically designed to withstand high temperatures without breaking down or melting. Each sponge measures 2.36x2.36 inches with a thickened construction that provides excellent cleaning efficiency. Using them is simple - just soak in water, squeeze out about 40% of the water, then wipe your hot soldering iron tip across the surface to remove solder residue and oxidation. The instant cleaning action leaves your tips looking bright and new, ready for precise soldering work. I love that these work with any soldering iron stand or temperature-controlled system, and they're much more effective than dry cleaning methods. Beyond soldering, these versatile sponges are also great for car cleaning, desktop cleaning, kitchen use, and various workshop applications. The wood pulp material is durable enough for repeated use but affordable enough to replace regularly. If you want to extend the life of your soldering tips while maintaining clean, professional soldering results, having a good supply of these cleaning sponges on hand is an absolute necessity for any serious workspace.
