Hey, these push nuts are exactly what you need to secure wheels on dollies, hand carts, and lawn wagons! The 16-piece set gives you plenty to work with, and they're designed specifically for 5/8-inch unthreaded axle rods. Made from alloy steel with a zinc phosphate coating and oil seal, these babies are rust-resistant and built to last. The 1-inch outer diameter and 0.02-inch thickness might not sound like much, but they provide serious locking power. Installation is super simple - just slip them onto the axle rod and tap them firmly into place with a hammer. The teeth design creates a ratcheting action that only allows movement in one direction, so once they're on, they're staying put! They're perfect for low-torque equipment where you need wheels to stay securely in place. A deep socket can help with removal if needed, but fair warning - these aren't really meant to be reusable. The black oiled phosphate finish looks professional and provides extra corrosion protection. Whether you're repairing existing equipment or building something new, these push nuts get the job done reliably. Just keep them away from small children since they're, well, small parts. If you work with dollies or carts regularly, having a supply of these on hand is definitely smart - they're one of those simple solutions that just work perfectly!
