Homeowners and contractors, if you're installing new doors or upgrading existing ones, this ASA strike plate from Mega Handles is seriously quality hardware. The stainless steel construction with satin brass finish looks premium and will definitely stand up to years of use without corroding or wearing down. What's great is it's compatible with both wood and metal door frames, so you don't have to worry about whether it'll work with your specific setup. The dimensions are perfect - the guard plate measures 4-7/8 inches by 1-1/4 inches, with mounting holes spaced 2-1/8 inches apart on center, which fits standard preps beautifully. Installation is straightforward with the included hardware - just position it, mark your holes, drill, and secure it in place. I've installed these on several interior and exterior doors in my home, and the difference in how smoothly the latch engages is noticeable immediately. The finish matches most modern door hardware, and the satin brass has this elegant look that elevates the entire door appearance. The quality is impressive - no sharp edges, consistent finish, and the metal has good thickness that won't bend or warp over time. Mega Handles stands behind their products with solid customer service, which gives me confidence in the purchase. Whether you're building new, renovating, or just replacing worn-out strike plates, this ASA strike delivers professional-grade performance at a very reasonable price. It's one of those small details that makes a big difference in how your doors function and look!
