These Bello Collezioni chess pieces from Italy bring serious style to your chess games with their solid metal construction and classic brass/silver plating. The Stefano Jr set features that beautiful weight and feel that only genuine metal pieces can provide, with felted bottoms that glide smoothly across any board. At 2 inches tall for the king with a 3/4 inch base diameter, these pieces have substantial presence without being overwhelming. They even include two extra queens - super handy for pawn promotions during intense games. The craftsmanship is exactly what you'd expect from Italian artisans, with clean details and beautiful finishes that catch the light beautifully. Remember that your chess board squares should be about 1/4 inch larger than the piece bases for ideal proportions and movement. Whether you're a serious chess player looking to upgrade your equipment or someone who appreciates beautiful game pieces as decor, this set delivers both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The weight distribution feels perfect in your hand, making moves satisfying and deliberate. Great for display in your office, living room, or game room - they definitely make a statement when guests see them. The durability of solid metal means these pieces will last for generations, unlike plastic sets that show wear quickly. Perfect as a gift for chess enthusiasts, collectors, or anyone who appreciates finely crafted games. This isn't just another chess set - it's a piece of functional art that elevates every game you play. Board not included, but any quality chess board will complement these beautiful pieces perfectly.
