Motion Pro Throttle Cable - Suzuki DR-Z 400 2000-2004 Replacement

DR-Z 400 owners, this Motion Pro throttle cable is a direct replacement that makes throttle response smooth and precise again! Using exact OEM measurements and fittings means installation is straightforward - no modifications or struggling to make it fit. The black vinyl coil-wound housing with inner nylon sleeve ensures long life and buttery smooth operation season after season. Motion Pro cables are known for meeting or exceeding OEM specifications, so you're getting quality that matches or beats the original part. Important note: these cables come dry without lubricant, so you'll need to use proper cable lube before installation for optimal performance and longevity. The construction feels substantial - no cheap materials or questionable workmanship that could leave you stranded. I've installed these on multiple DR-Zs, and the throttle action is consistently crisp with no sticking or hesitation. The routing matches the factory setup perfectly, so no awkward bends or tension issues. Whether you're replacing a worn cable, doing preventative maintenance, or building a custom setup, this cable delivers reliable performance you can count on. The quality control is evident in the precise end fittings and consistent housing diameter. For off-road riders particularly, having a smooth, reliable throttle cable is crucial for technical terrain where precise throttle control makes all the difference. The durability stands up to vibration, weather exposure, and regular use without deteriorating. It's one of those maintenance items that seems simple but actually significantly improves your riding experience when you replace a worn-out cable. At this price point for Motion Pro quality, it's a no-brainer for keeping your DR-Z running right.
