Tomytec Citaro Bus System - Swiss PTT Bus Model Kit For Tomytec Street System

Model train and diorama enthusiasts, this Tomytec Citaro Bus System model is an incredible detail piece for your layout. This isn't a pre-assembled toy - it's a proper scale model kit that requires assembly and painting, but the results are absolutely worth the effort. The Swiss PTT livery is beautifully recreated, capturing that distinctive postal bus look that's so iconic in European scenes. The scale is 1/150, making it perfect for N gauge layouts or detailed dioramas. What's really clever is how it's designed specifically for the Tomytec Street System - once assembled and mounted on the included chassis (sold separately as item 976297), it becomes a rolling display piece that adds incredible realism to your urban scenes. The plastic molding is crisp and clean, with fine details that really stand out once painted. You'll need model glue and paints to complete it (Tomytec recommends their specific products for best results), but the assembly process is straightforward for anyone with basic modeling experience. The completed model has that authentic Citaro bus shape that European train enthusiasts will immediately recognize. Whether you're creating a Swiss village scene, a modern city layout, or just want to add some authentic vehicular traffic to your display, this bus delivers that professional, museum-quality look. The packaging protects the delicate parts during shipping, and the instructions are clear despite being in Japanese - the diagrams make the assembly process easy to follow. For serious model railroaders who appreciate accuracy and detail, this Tomytec bus is exactly the kind of quality accessory that transforms a good layout into an exceptional one. The attention to detail in the casting and the authentic liveries make these worth seeking out for anyone building European-themed displays.
