Pactrade Marine 10-Piece Security Pin Switch Set - Chrome Plated Hood Alarm Switches

Car security enthusiasts, this 10-piece set of pin switches from Pactrade Marine is exactly what you need for setting up or repairing your vehicle's alarm system. These chrome plated metal switches are 2 3/4 inches long and built to handle the elements and regular use. They're perfect for hood and door applications where you need reliable switches that complete the circuit when opened or closed. The chrome plating resists corrosion, which is crucial for under-hood installations where moisture and temperature changes can wreck cheaper components. Having 10 in the set means you've got plenty for multiple vehicles or spares for future projects. Installation is straightforward if you're familiar with automotive electrical work - they're standard pin switches that work with most alarm systems. The construction feels solid - not that flimsy stuff that fails after a few months. Whether you're building a security system from scratch, replacing worn-out switches, or adding extra protection points to your vehicle, these provide reliable performance. I've used them for hood pins primarily, but they work for doors, trunks, or any application where you need to detect when something is opened. The consistent quality across all 10 switches means you're not dealing with duds in the pack. If you're tired of false alarms from faulty switches or want to upgrade your vehicle's security with reliable components, this set delivers professional-grade parts without the professional price tag. They're compatible with most standard alarm systems and the chrome finish actually looks good in the engine bay. For the price, getting 10 quality switches is solid value whether you're a professional installer or a DIY security enthusiast.
