Wisamic Plug Lockout Tagout Device - Polypropylene Electrical Safety Lock

Workplace safety is no joke, and this Wisamic plug lockout device is an essential tool for any proper Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedure. If you're working with electrical equipment that needs to be safely isolated during maintenance or repair, this simple but effective device prevents plugs from being inserted into wall outlets, ensuring nobody accidentally energizes equipment while work is being done. Made from rugged polypropylene, it's built to withstand industrial environments without cracking or breaking down over time. The design supports two managers locking out with their own padlocks through the two locking holes, which is crucial for situations where multiple workers need to secure the same equipment. The dimensions (2x2x3.5 inches) are compact enough to fit most standard plugs while still providing adequate space for padlocks. It features a 1/2-inch diameter hole for the power cable and 3/8-inch holes for standard padlocks (which aren't included, so you'll need to provide those separately). Compliance with OSHA's Lockout Standard is a big deal for any workplace safety program, and this device meets those requirements, helping you avoid those costly violations during inspections. The bright color makes it highly visible, serving as a clear warning that equipment is locked out for safety reasons. Installation is straightforward - just place it over the plug and secure with your padlocks - but the protection it provides is absolutely critical for preventing serious accidents. Whether you're in manufacturing, maintenance, construction, or any industry where electrical safety matters, having reliable lockout devices like this one is non-negotiable for protecting your team and maintaining proper safety protocols. It's one of those simple safety tools that genuinely saves lives and prevents injuries when used correctly as part of a comprehensive safety program.
