For all you tarot enthusiasts out there, this Vieux Monde Express Tarot de Viéville deck is something really special. It's not your average tarot deck - this is a reproduction of the actual Jacques Vieville Tarot from 1650 Paris that's normally kept in the Bibliotheque nationale de France. How cool is that? You're basically holding a piece of tarot history in your hands. What makes this deck unique are the differences from standard Marseilles decks - the order of Justice, the Chariot, Strength and the Hermit cards are rearranged, the Tower appears as a tree instead of the usual crumbling structure, and get this - the Hanged Man is actually upright! The cards come in a sturdy two-piece box that keeps them protected, and they're made right here in the USA. Whether you're a seasoned reader or just starting your tarot journey, having this historical deck adds such depth to your practice. The artwork has that authentic 17th century feel that modern decks just can't replicate. I love pulling this deck out for special readings or when I want to connect with traditional tarot symbolism. It's also fantastic for collectors who appreciate the historical significance. The cards are full-sized and have a great feel - not too slick, not too sticky - just right for smooth shuffling. If you're tired of the same mainstream decks and want something with real historical authenticity, this Viéville reproduction is absolutely worth adding to your collection.
