Askar 120APO Telescope - 120mm F7 ED Triplet APO Astrograph For Astrophotography

Astronomy enthusiasts, this Askar 120APO telescope is seriously impressive for both viewing and astrophotography! With a 120mm aperture, it gathers 36% more light than their 103APO model, which means brighter, more detailed images and the ability to see fainter objects up to magnitude 12.2. The F7 focal ratio gives you that perfect balance between wide field views and detailed planetary observation. The triplet APO design with ED glass is what serious astronomers look for - it virtually eliminates chromatic aberration so you get crisp, color-accurate images. The dual finder bases on both sides are super convenient for mounting your finder scope or other accessories without crowding. You've got accessory options too - there's a 1x flattener and 0.8x reducer available, both with built-in filter threads and M54/M48 adapters. For visual observing, it works great with both 1.25 and 2 inch diagonals and eyepieces, and the segmented tube design even allows for binoviewer use. The build quality feels premium and substantial - this isn't some toy telescope. Whether you're into deep sky astrophotography, planetary imaging, or just enjoy visual observing, this scope delivers professional-level performance. The light gathering power and resolution are fantastic for capturing detailed images of galaxies, nebulae, and planets. If you're ready to step up your astronomy game with a serious instrument that handles both photography and visual use beautifully, the Askar 120APO is definitely worth considering. It's one of those scopes that can grow with you as your skills advance!
