Camping pros know - a good ground sheet can make or break your tent experience. This Captain Stag ground sheet is exactly what you need to keep your tent floor clean, dry, and protected from rough ground. Made from tough polyethylene that's completely waterproof, it creates a solid barrier between your tent and the elements.
The sizing is important here - this sheet measures about 73.8x72.8 inches, which is designed specifically for tents with floor sizes around 78.7x78.7 inches (that's 200x200 cm). You want your ground sheet to be 4-8 inches smaller than your tent floor all around - if it's the same size or larger, rainwater can pool between the sheet and tent floor and actually cause leaks.
It comes with a handy storage bag that makes packing and transporting super easy. The material feels durable enough to handle rocks, sticks, and general ground roughness without tearing. Setting up is straightforward - just lay it down, set your tent on top, and you're good to go.
Not only does it protect your tent floor from wear and tear, but it adds an extra layer of insulation and moisture protection. When you're done camping, just wipe it down, fold it up, and stash it in the included bag. It's one of those simple camping accessories that you'll wonder how you ever managed without.
