The blend of Arthurian legend and dark Celtic mythology creates this haunting, beautiful setting that feels fresh and original. Gameplay for 1-4 players is deep and meaningful - your choices actually matter and can change how the story unfolds in significant ways. The character development system is brilliant - you build your hero along different trait lines like Brutality vs Empathy, which unlocks unique skills and really makes each playthrough feel different. The combat and encounter system is dice-less, which keeps you immersed in the narrative rather than worrying about lucky rolls. The production quality is stunning - Awaken Realms is known for their incredible miniatures and artwork, and this game delivers on all fronts. Playing time of 60-120 minutes feels just right - long enough to get invested but not so long that you can't finish in one sitting. The branching storyline means you can play multiple times and have completely different experiences.
