Royal Wulff Triangle Taper Fly Line - Floating Classic Fishing Line For Fly Fishing

Serious fly anglers, get ready to experience the legendary Royal Wulff Triangle Taper Fly Line that revolutionized fly fishing! This award-winning line features Lee Wulff's innovative triangle taper design that provides the most delicate presentations and efficient energy transfer you can find. The unique continuous forward taper in the head section (27-40 feet depending on application) means heavier line constantly turns over lighter line, creating that perfect unrolling motion that makes casting feel effortless. The 90-foot length includes a 36-40 foot taper section followed by a 54-50 foot running line, with a welded loop at the end for easy leader attachment that saves you time on the water. Available in sizes 2 through 9 to match your rod weight, this floating line comes in Olive, Ivory, or Orange colors with J3 coating that ensures smooth performance cast after cast. What makes this line special is how it excels at both overhand casting and roll casting - you can make delicate presentations up close or reach out to 60 feet with surprising ease. The design keeps the weight away from your fly, resulting in softer landings that won't spook wary fish in calm waters. The shooting head-like performance gives you distance when you need it, while the customizable tip (you can cut it back for desired performance) lets you fine-tune the line to your specific fishing style. Whether you're targeting trout, bass, or any freshwater species, this line delivers the precision and control that can make the difference between a good day and a great day on the water. The quality is what you'd expect from the Royal Wulff name - consistent, reliable, and built to perform season after season. It's one of those gear upgrades that actually makes you a better angler by working with your casting motion rather than against it.
