For Magic: The Gathering players, Ugin, the Ineffable from War of the Spark is such a powerful and versatile planeswalker! At 6 mana cost (2 colorless, 4 generic), he comes in with 4 loyalty and has some seriously useful abilities. His static ability is amazing - colorless spells you cast cost 2 less to cast, which can lead to some explosive turns in artifact or eldrazi decks. His +1 lets you exile a face-down card from your hand, then draw a card - great for filtering through your deck and setting up future plays. But the real value is in his -3 - exile target permanent that's one or more colors. This removal ability hits so many problematic permanents since most things in MTG are colored. He can protect himself reasonably well, and in the right deck, he can take over the game quickly. The card quality from War of the Spark is solid - good card stock with that nice MTG finish. Whether you're building a commander deck around him, slotting him into a Tron variant, or just collecting planeswalkers, Ugin is definitely worth having in your collection. He sees play in multiple formats, so his value tends to hold pretty well. The artwork is stunning too - that classic Ugin look we've come to love. A must-have for any serious MTG player's collection, especially if you enjoy playing big, impactful spells and controlling the board.
