WEN 13-Inch Spiral Blade Thickness Planer - Two-Speed Benchtop Wood Planer With 15-Amp Motor

Woodworkers, this WEN thickness planer is seriously impressive for bringing rough lumber back to life! That 13-inch capacity means you can handle decent-sized boards, and the spiral cutterhead with 26 staggered HSS blades gives you an incredibly smooth finish that rivals much more expensive planers. The two-speed operation is genius - use the faster 26 feet-per-minute setting when you need to quickly dimension lumber, then switch to the slower 16 FPM setting for those final passes where you want that perfect, glass-like finish. The 15-amp motor is plenty powerful, spinning the cutterhead at up to 10,000 RPM and delivering up to 1354 cuts per inch on the slow setting - that's some serious precision! You can plane boards up to 6 inches thick, and the depth adjustment knob lets you take off anywhere from 0 to 1/8 inch per pass with good control. The built-in planing gauge is super helpful for keeping track of how much material you're removing, and the heavy-duty base prevents any walking or wobbling during operation. The adjustable dust port handles both 2-1/2 inch and 4-inch hoses, and there's even onboard wrench storage so you don't lose those essential tools. The height-adjustable infeed and outfeed tables help minimize snipe, which is always a bonus. Setting it up is straightforward with pre-drilled base holes for mounting to a workbench or stand. As a WEN product, you get that solid two-year warranty and access to their service network if you ever need it. Whether you're a serious woodworker looking for a reliable secondary planer or a hobbyist wanting to step up your lumber processing game, this WEN planer delivers professional results without the professional price tag. It's one of those tools that once you start using it, you'll wonder how you managed without it!
