Selkirk Gas Vent Wall Thimble - 4 Inch Diameter Galvanized Steel

Hey DIYers and professionals working on vent installations! This Selkirk wall thimble is that crucial component you need for safe and proper gas vent installation through walls. The 4-inch diameter is standard for most gas appliance venting systems, and the galvanized steel construction ensures durability and corrosion resistance. The adjustable design is pure genius - it fits wall thicknesses from 4-1/8 inches to 7 inches, so you're covered for pretty much any standard wall construction. Installation is straightforward if you're familiar with vent work: just cut your hole, insert the thimble, adjust to your wall thickness, and secure it in place. This creates that essential clearance between your vent pipe and combustible materials, which is absolutely critical for safety. The quality is exactly what you'd expect from Selkirk - professional grade materials and construction that meet building codes and standards. Perfect for gas water heaters, furnaces, fireplaces, or any appliance that requires venting through an exterior wall. The galvanized finish holds up well to weather and temperature changes, so you're not dealing with rust or deterioration down the road. Seriously, if you're installing or replacing gas venting and want to do it right (and safely!), this wall thimble is a must-have component. It's one of those parts that seems simple but makes all the difference between a professional, safe installation and a potential hazard. Your inspector will appreciate the proper installation, and you'll appreciate the peace of mind knowing your vent system is installed correctly and safely for years to come.
