Minoston Z-Wave Smart Plug 2-Pack - 800 Series With S2 Security, Hub Required For Alexa/Google

Smart home enthusiasts, these Minoston Z-Wave plugs are seriously impressive for building out your home automation system! The 800 series chip is the latest Z-Wave technology with better range, faster communication, and enhanced S2 security that makes your smart home more secure from hacking. Now, important note - these DO require a Z-Wave hub like SmartThings, Hubitat, Wink, or similar - they won't work directly with Echo Plus or alone. But once connected to your hub, the functionality is amazing! You get 15-amp capacity (1875W max), which is enough for most lamps, fans, coffee makers, and other household devices. The built-in Z-Wave repeater function is genius - it actually extends your Z-Wave network range, making other Z-Wave devices work better throughout your home. Setting up with SmartStart is super easy - just scan the DSK code and it pairs automatically with your hub. I've got mine controlling lamps in my living room and bedroom, and being able to turn them on/off with Alexa voice commands or automatically on schedules is so convenient. The compact design means you can plug two of these into the same outlet without blocking the second socket, which is huge for places with limited outlets. The timer and scheduling features work flawlessly - I have my lamps turn on at sunset automatically and my coffee maker start warming up before I wake up. The group control feature lets you control multiple plugs with one command, which is perfect for turning off all your lights at once when leaving home. The ETL certification gives me confidence in the safety and quality. Seriously, if you're building a Z-Wave smart home ecosystem, these plugs are absolute workhorses - reliable, secure, and packed with features that make home automation actually useful rather than just gimmicky. They've been rock-solid reliable for months now with no dropouts or connectivity issues, which is more than I can say for some other smart plugs I've tried!
