Hey homeowners, if you're tired of your old, rusty mail slot or just installing a new one, this Deltana mail slot is seriously solid quality. The interior frame is made from actual solid brass - not some cheap plated metal that'll tarnish in a year. It measures 13-1/8 inches by 3-5/8 inches overall, with an 11x2-1/4 inch opening that's perfect for standard mail and small packages. Deltana is known for their quality architectural hardware, and this mail slot definitely shows it. It comes with all the mounting hardware you need for installation, and it's available in different finishes to match your door's look. The construction feels substantial in your hands - this isn't some flimsy piece that'll bend or break. Installation is pretty straightforward if you're moderately handy, and once it's in, it'll last for years without issues. Seriously, if you're replacing an old mail slot or adding one to a new door, this is the kind of quality piece that makes your whole entryway look more polished and professional.
