Sash Cord Rope - 1/4 Inch X 100 Ft Cotton & Nylon Blend For Windows & Crafts

This sash cord is one of those versatile ropes that every DIYer should have in their toolkit. It's #8 size, which means 1/4 inch thick, and you get a full 100 feet of it - plenty for multiple projects. The combination of cotton outer braid and nylon core gives you the best of both worlds: the cotton is soft on your hands and holds knots really well, while the nylon core adds strength and reduces stretching. Traditionally used for counterbalance systems in double-hung windows, this is the real deal for window repair projects. But it's crazy versatile - works great as clothesline rope, for arts and crafts, theater props, camping, tying down tarps, you name it. The low stretch is really important - when you tie a knot, it stays tight and doesn't loosen up over time. The abrasion resistance means it won't wear out quickly, even with frequent use. The polished cotton finish makes it smooth to handle, and it doesn't fray badly when you cut it. Whether you're restoring old windows, setting up a backyard clothesline, working on theater productions, or just need reliable cordage around the house, this sash cord delivers. It's from All In Safety, who are known for quality industrial and safety supplies, so you're getting professional-grade material. The white color is classic and unobtrusive, though they do offer black too if that works better for your project. Honestly, for the price and length, it's a steal that will handle countless jobs around your home or workspace.
