Prime-Line Sheet Metal Screws #8 X 2-1/2 Inch - Self-Tapping Flat Head Phillips 100 Pack

DIYers and professionals, this 100-pack of Prime-Line sheet metal screws is an absolute essential for your workshop! These #8 x 2-1/2 inch self-tapping screws feature a sharp pointed tip that cuts through metal without needing pre-tapping, saving you time and effort on projects. The flat head Phillips design sits flush with surfaces for a clean, professional finish, while the zinc plating provides excellent corrosion resistance for both indoor and outdoor use. The threads are specifically engineered to pull materials tightly together, creating secure connections that hold up under stress and vibration. Whether you're attaching sheet metal to wood, joining thin metal sections, or working on automotive repairs, these screws deliver reliable performance. The 2-1/2 inch length gives you plenty of bite for substantial materials while still being versatile enough for various applications. While they're self-tapping for metal, drilling a pilot hole when attaching to wood ensures clean installation without splitting. The quality is exactly what you expect from Prime-Line - consistent threading, proper hardening, and reliable performance screw after screw. Having a 100-piece pack means you always have the right fasteners on hand for repairs, projects, or unexpected needs. The value is outstanding compared to buying individual screws, and the organized packaging keeps everything accessible. From HVAC work to metal fabrication, automotive repairs to general maintenance, these versatile screws handle countless applications with professional results. They're one of those basic supplies that every serious DIYer or professional should have in their toolkit - reliable, affordable, and ready for whatever project comes up next.
