Rust-Oleum Advanced Synthetic Shellac Primer - 1 Gallon White Primer For Stain Blocking & Odor Sealing

DIYers and professional painters, this Rust-Oleum shellac primer is seriously powerful stuff for tackling those tough painting challenges! As a synthetic shellac-based primer, it delivers incredible stain blocking power that handles everything from water marks and smoke damage to pesky knots, sap, and tannin bleed-through that can ruin your finish coat. The odor sealing capability is remarkable too - it locks in smells from smoke, pets, or previous accidents so they don't seep through your new paint job. The bright white color provides excellent hide and coverage, creating a perfect uniform base for your top coats. What's great about this primer is its excellent adhesion - it sticks to virtually any surface including wood, drywall, metal, and even previously painted surfaces without sanding in many cases. The 1-gallon size is perfect for larger projects like entire rooms, cabinets, or furniture refinishing. Being made in the USA gives you confidence in the quality, and Rust-Oleum's reputation for reliable products means this primer will perform exactly as expected. Whether you're dealing with water-damaged ceilings, smoke-stained walls, knotty pine, or just want to ensure a professional-looking finish on your painting project, this primer creates that crucial barrier that prevents future problems. It dries relatively quickly and sands smoothly for that glass-like finish professional painters achieve. If you've ever had stains bleed through your paint or dealt with persistent odors, this shellac primer is the solution you've been looking for. It's one of those products that separates amateur paint jobs from professional-looking results that last for years without issues.
