Holts Gun Gum Exhaust Sealant 200g - Heat Resistant Repair Putty For Exhaust Systems

Car owners dealing with exhaust leaks, this Holts Gun Gum Exhaust Sealant could save you a ton of money on expensive exhaust repairs! This stuff has been trusted by motorists for decades, and the modern formula makes it easier than ever to fix small and large holes in your exhaust or silencer without having to dismantle anything. The 200g metal tin contains this ready-to-use putty that's heat resistant up to 300°C, forming a gas-tight seal that can handle the high temperatures of your exhaust system. Application is straightforward - just clean the area around the hole, knead the Gun Gum until it's pliable, and press it firmly over the damaged area, smoothing it out to create a solid seal. It sets quickly and can actually provide a permanent repair when combined with other Gun Gum products like their repair tape. Whether you've got a small pinhole leak or a larger crack in your exhaust, this sealant can get you back on the road quickly and inexpensively. It's perfect for temporary repairs until you can get to a mechanic, or for permanent fixes on older vehicles where replacing the entire exhaust isn't worth the cost. The metal tin keeps the product fresh and makes it easy to store whatever you don't use for future repairs. For the price, having this in your garage or car emergency kit is absolutely worth it - you never know when an exhaust leak might pop up, and being able to fix it yourself could prevent more serious problems down the road while saving you a hefty repair bill. This is one of those classic automotive products that every DIY mechanic should have on hand!
