Anglers, this Daiwa Set Upper minnow lure is absolutely killer for targeting bigger fish! At 4.9 inches long and weighing 1.1oz, it's the perfect size for bass, pike, and other predatory fish. The slow sinking action is what really sets it apart - it maintains its depth beautifully and the high-pitch tight woven roll drives fish absolutely crazy. I've been using this in waters over 6.6 feet deep and the action is just incredible. The laser impact design supervised by Masaya Onuma really works - fish can't resist attacking this thing. The #6 hooks are sharp right out of the package and the #3 rings provide smooth, natural movement in the water. What I love most is how it maintains its action even at slower retrieval speeds, making it perfect for those days when fish are being picky. The color patterns are realistic and the build quality is typical Daiwa - excellent craftsmanship that holds up against aggressive strikes. Whether you're fishing deep structure or working drop-offs, this lure gets down to the strike zone and stays there. It's become one of my go-to lures for when I need something that can work deeper water effectively. If you're looking to add a serious fish-catcher to your tackle box that performs consistently in various conditions, this Daiwa minnow is absolutely worth the investment!
