Jeffers Stainless Steel Full Cheek Bit - 5 Inch Copper Snaffle For Horses With 6 Inch Cheeks

Equestrians, if you're looking for a bit that gives you great communication with your horse, this Jeffers Full Cheek Bit is worth checking out. The stainless steel construction is top-notch - rust-resistant and built to last through years of riding. The copper snaffle mouthpiece is brilliant because copper encourages salivation, which means your horse stays more comfortable and responsive. The full cheek design is what really sets this apart though - those 6-inch cheeks prevent the bit from sliding sideways in your horse's mouth, giving you much better lateral control for turns and steering. At 5 inches wide with a 14mm mouth thickness, it fits most horses comfortably. Safety tip - definitely use bit keepers with this style to prevent the upper cheeks from catching on anything. The quality is exactly what you'd expect from Jeffers - professional grade without the crazy price tag. I've found it works particularly well for young horses or those in training because it provides clear directional cues without being harsh. The combination of stainless steel for durability and copper for horse comfort is just smart design. Whether you're doing dressage, jumping, or just trail riding, this bit offers that perfect balance of control and consideration for your horse's comfort. Definitely a solid addition to your tack collection!
