Handmade Wooden Chess Board - Indian Rosewood & Maple 17 Inch

Chess enthusiasts, this handmade wooden chess board is absolutely stunning! Crafted from dark brown Indian rosewood and lighter maple wood, this 17x17 inch board has that classic, timeless look that serious chess players appreciate. The squares measure 45mm each - perfect for standard tournament-sized pieces (look for kings with 1 to 1.4 inch bases). At 20mm thick, this board has some serious heft to it - it's not going to slide around during intense games. The green velvet felt on the bottom protects your table surface and adds a nice professional touch. Since it's handmade, each board has its own unique character - the wood grain patterns vary slightly, making yours truly one-of-a-kind. This is just the board though - pieces are sold separately, so you can pair it with your favorite set. Whether you're displaying it in your home, using it for tournaments, or giving it as a gift to a chess-loving friend, this board makes every game feel special. There's just something about playing on a quality wooden board that plastic or vinyl can't match.
