Westcott MT-78 Clear Marine Triangle - Drafting And Measuring Tool For Technical Drawing

So Westcott has been making quality drawing tools since like, 1872 - that's over 150 years of experience behind this simple but essential marine triangle. The MT-78 clear triangle is one of those basic tools that just works perfectly for drafting, technical drawing, or any kind of precise measuring work. The clear plastic material means you can see exactly what you're working on underneath, which is so important when you're trying to line things up accurately. The edges are super precise with clean, sharp lines that give you that professional-level accuracy whether you're drawing, measuring, or cutting. What I really appreciate is how lightweight it is - you can work with it for hours without your hand getting tired, but it still feels substantial enough that it doesn't slide around easily on your paper. The marine triangle design is versatile for all kinds of angles and measurements, making it useful for everything from architectural drawings to school projects to DIY home planning. I've used mine for sketching out room layouts, helping kids with geometry homework, even for craft projects where I needed straight lines and precise angles. The quality is exactly what you'd expect from Westcott - it's not going to warp or become inaccurate over time like cheaper plastic triangles can. The surface has just the right amount of grip to stay put when you need it to, but still slides easily when you want to reposition it. Whether you're a professional draftsman, an art student, a DIY enthusiast, or just someone who occasionally needs to make accurate drawings or measurements, this triangle is a reliable tool that'll last you years. It's one of those simple tools that becomes an essential part of your workspace once you have it. The fact that Westcott has been perfecting these basic tools for generations really shows in the quality and attention to detail.
