Hey DIYers and pros! These steel sheet metal screws are exactly what you need for those metalworking projects. Coming in a handy 100-pack, these bad boys feature a nickel plated finish that offers solid corrosion resistance - not just for looks but actual protection. The pan head design sits flush with a flat top and rounded edges, while the Phillips drive gives you that familiar X-shaped slot that's designed to slip out when you've hit the right tightness (no more stripped threads!). The Type AB point is the real star here - it's got that sharp conical tip that bites right into thin metals between 0.015\ and 0.050\ thick, plus the finer spaced threads give you better grip in resin-impregnated plywood too. Made from sturdy steel where strength really matters, these screws have threads running the full length of the shank so they tap and fasten in one go. Perfect for automotive work, HVAC installations, metal framing, or any project where you need reliable fastening in thin materials. The 8-12 thread size with 1/2\ length makes them versatile for various applications. Just grab your Phillips driver and you're good to go - these screws do the hard work of penetrating and threading simultaneously. No more pre-drilling headaches with these self-tapping champions!
