Grivel G14 New-Matic EVO Crampons - 12-Point Technical Mountaineering Ice Climbing Gear

Serious climbers, these Grivel G14 crampons are the real deal for technical mountaineering and ice climbing. With 12 aggressive points total, they give you incredible grip on ice and mixed terrain. The two front points are hot-forged and completely replaceable - which is awesome because those are the ones that take the most beating. You can set them up in either bi-point or mono-point configuration depending on your preference and climbing style. The forging process creates this three-dimensional shape that really improves penetration into ice without those annoying rebounds. The adjustable central bar means you can get a perfect fit on different boots, and they come with Grivel's famous Antibott system both front and rear to prevent snow buildup. Available with either Cramp-o-Matic or New-Matic bindings, so you can choose what works best with your footwear. These aren't your beginner crampons - they're designed for climbers who need reliable performance on steep ice and technical routes. The build quality is exactly what you'd expect from Grivel, a brand that's been in the game forever. If you're progressing beyond basic glacier travel into more serious ice climbing or alpine routes, these G14s will give you the confidence and performance you need. They're the kind of gear that becomes an extension of your feet, responding exactly when you need that secure placement. Whether you're tackling frozen waterfalls or navigating icy ridges, having crampons that you can trust completely changes the game. The replaceable points mean they'll last through seasons of use, and the adjustability ensures they'll work with multiple pairs of boots. Definitely worth the investment if you're serious about your ice climbing adventures!
